Leaving San Tierra...Nice Complex just too expensive.

It is the end of my lease and I am moving to a complex where rent is almost $300/month cheaper for the same size 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment! I've lived at San Tierra for 2 years but it was a pleasant experience for the most part. The staff was always nice and maintenance issues were resolved. I had one maintenance issue that took almost a year for them to fix.
As far as noise: I am on the first floor and you can hear every little noise from my upstairs neighbor. Also a lot of noise from cars speeding thru the parking lot like they were in Nascar. But that can happen at any apartment complex. I liked the layout of my apartment but wish it didn't have a fireplace. The rent definitely is too high for what you get. But the complex is nice and inviting. Lots of trees and the fitness center is amazing; very nice. So I guess I would recommend living here if you don't mind paying a high amount of rent and don't mind some noise. One thing I do have to say is the apartment staff did try to get me to renew my lease and offered a great reduction in my rent but the other place is still cheaper so I'm still leaving. But if you have to live the apartment life then this is a nice complex.
