You can tell the girls are not trained in good customer service! I didn't get a good vibe from the staff from the moment I phoned them to inquire about the prices on these apartments. The girls were very limited in the information they shared about the apartments. There were long pauses on the phone when I called--as if she was hoping she didn't have to work too hard, or answer any questions. Very odd staff here.
Why I went to see the place after an un-inviting phone chat--I am not sure. The experience of going in was not much better. Unfriendly, not willing to extend themselves to work with you at all. They requested a $200 deposit that was not refundable and I couldn't even see the apt. that I was about to move into.
Most places understand that you aren't going to put down unrefundable money until you see what you are moving into to. Well this chick didn't get it, and she was half rude about it. I have heard negative things about this place as I have been searching for apts. now for a week. A couple girls use to work there that are now at other properties and said that MarkTaylor seems to hire snotty girls in general. yikes! Not a commitment I want to get into!

I have lived at San Tierra for the last year. I have found the office staff friendly, polite, and responsive to our maintenence requests, and other issues. No, I didn't get to see my specific apartment either, but when you are renting from a company that has models that are exact twins of your place, there is little left to the imagination. I have had some noise issues with other tenants, and this was handled rapidly and most professionally. The author of the above rating called the girls "snotty" and "chicks" This alone destroys his credibility. This type of review shows the author to be a rebel, who doesn't like authority and who feels inferior. I would discount this review as completely bogus.
