I lived here for two years, but left because it is too pricey! When other apartments nearby are offering two-bedroom apartment at around $ 800, paying more here is a waste of money. Especially in these hard times!
Besides, they are good while you are staying there; once you leave, they will find some excuse to deduct charges from your security deposit. This left a bitter taste in my mouth.

You may have a point about the property being too pricey.
Rents in general have come down due to the glut of forclosure-rentals on the market. Of course the last people to lower rent are the larger complexes. Many of them are offering one or two months free when you sign up for a lease, thus making a significant dent in the monthly price, if it is averaged over the year. We lived at the property for a year, and actually got our entire security back! All we did was clean the place, and make sure that we wrote a letter WHEN WE MOVED IN DETAILING nicks, scratches, etc. on the doors, wood casings, etc. We also noted that the carpet was stained. Thus when we moved, we didn't have to worry about he complex coming after us for these things. I did enjoy our time there, and liked the complex.
