Property and Management (Greystar) is the WORST I've ever encountered.

Management (Greystar) is the worst. Not only do they not care about the property, they don't care about keeping their residents long term. That should speak volumes. I was one of the first tenants to this property when it was first built. This property used to be landscaped just beautifully, since management changed (to Greystar from Fairfield) this property has spiraled downhill. Not only have they not kept up the beautiful landscaping, they've let it a good portion of it die off. They also don't have the grounds groomed nearly as often or as professionally as the previous management team. Weeds were NEVER a problem with Fairfield. With Greystar, they seldom get addressed. There is debris CONSTANTLY around the property. Old management had someone come by to pick up THOROUGHLY on a daily basis. They never hose down the walkways like the previous management leaving crap to gather under the stairwells. With old management, the tv's in the workout room both ALWAYS worked. We're lucky if one works half the time here. The other hasn't worked since shortly after Management took over. The fireplace at the hot tub works 1 out of 10 times --regardless of who notifies Greystar or how often. The Manager herself is extremely rude, unhelpful, uncaring and the worst I've ever encountered. She couldn't care less. How she's maintained gainful employment in a property management position is beyond me. BEWARE. She is a sheep in wolves clothing. She'll seem nice and sweet and helpful -- until she's gotten your signature on the lease. Then she'll do everything possible to screw you. Read some of the other reviews for this property very carefully. You should see some common elements. If they don't bother you, you should be fine. Also, the quality of people they are renting to has spiraled downhill as well. I don't know what they are doing, but not only has the property gone ghetto, so has the majority of people they've rented to in the past year. Get a unit with a security alarm. Unfortunately, you'll need it. Not only is crime a problem the Courtesy Officer they claim to have ON PREMISES when you move in is not on premises and takes some time to reach and respond. This was never a problem with old management either. If you like the ghetto, white trash, don't care about what the property looks like or how its maintained, if you don't care that the Management team consistently evidences little to no property management experience, if your car or apartment being broken into doesn't bother you, or coming home to your neighbor working on his car on cinder blocks, then this IS the place for you.

I live in a Greystar property in Fairfield, CA. Greystar has proven to be the worst property I have ever lived in. They employee incompetant staff. I mad arrangements to make payments for a lease break (have to get out of here!!!) . The staff member made arrangements and said she would put in writting and get to me...well, stupid me I believed her. I never received paperwork. I went into office to get copies and the new manager said there is no record of arrangements and "he is the manager and he has the right to override any and all arrangements" He will not honor the arrangements made and Greystar will NOT call me back. Greystar is horrible! The problems are nonstop!! The property is GHETTO!

I am stuck in a Greystar gone ghetto apartment in Orlando, Florida. One thing they seem to offer is consistency in management. My experience has been awful. No one returns phone calls and to get someone out for a service call is impossible. The men that are service the service team make you want to lock your panty drawer. I have spent the morning researching Greystar and continue to find the same reviews. If your standard of living requires service, attention and respect look elsewhere.

I live in a Greystar property in Casselberry, FL and it's nice to see I'm not alone. This place is a D-U-M-P, dump! From day one I've had nothing but problems! I walked in to my apt. after signing the lease to see it wasn't cleaned. Spices and trash were left in the cabinets, the window was broken, dust and cobwebs were on the lights and vents, to name a few... They don't take care of the landscaping here either, dead trees w/ bugs and fungus are all over this place, broken beer bottles, trash galore... And I won't go into the bugs in my apt!!! They won't come into your apt. without you there if you have a pet and they won't make appointments!! Nothing gets done, I've lived here 7 mths and I have had no pest service!! This place is gross, the staff in the office is rude... I could go on, but they summed it up in CA, This property is GHETTO!
