I lived here with my boyfriend and (now) our two dogs for a couple years. I never
had a problem with the management or staff. They have been actually really friendly and very easy to work with whenever I needed something. I understand that a lot of carpet issues are with pet owners, my guess would be irresponsible ones. I see them on the property all the time. Even with the dog park on the property, they let their dogs off the leash. Or they don't pick up after them.
I think as long as you play by the rules, this is a great place to live! My friends live here as well and we have a great time on weekends in the pool. This is mature but very funloving community. The last Volleyball tournament spoke volumes! We had nine teams all together. Then there is the brunch twice a month... champagne, fruit, smoked salmon... They go all out! Can't beat that.

Is it being an irresponsible owner if your pet has an accident on the carpet one time? Wait until you move out. I was told that pet urine is impossible to remove, and the carpet must be replaced and you must pay for it. Even one stain and you will have to replace the carpet. They told me that out of their own mouths.

I know for a fact that they dont replace the carpet that you pay for. My bf and I just had water damage and it took 3 days before Janette would even agree to get the industrial fans in there. When we moved in we knew the carpet wasn't new so we just documented all of the spots we saw. When she lifted the carpet it absolutely REAKED of urine. So if they are in fact charging for carpet to those that have pets, you're getting screwed because ours was definately not replaced.
