I wouldn't say that Stonegate is a bad place to live. For the most part day to day life is OK. The noise level can be irritating. The landscaping is usually done during weekday mornings. This usually starts about 7am. It is very annoying to hear an edge trimmer outside your window at 7am on a Friday morning. The office staff is hit and miss. We have had good service but never great service. At times some of the staff was rude. The amenities are nice. The gym and pool are great and the landscaping is nice. The parking is horrific. The one spot we have is almost a 3 minute walk. I timed it once. Our next door neighbor's spot is at the bottom of the stairs. When I asked about moving our spot I was told it couldn't be done. Our rent did increase the first time we renewed. The second time we renewed we had to wheel and deal in order to keep the rent from increasing again. The neighborhood is queit and the location is very good. The patio's here are huge and we have a small tv in the kitchen. The community is pet friendly and kid friendly. We never had a problem with load neighbors. The maintenence was sub standard. We had to call back to have the same problems fixed several times. On a scale from 1-5 i would give a 3.2.
