The property has been bought and sold so many times now who knows what management company will be here next week. The name of the property was changed during the last go round of trying to go condo. If you move here I wish you luck.. You will probably end up moving out since they make it no secret they plan to try the condo conversion again.
Symphony is the name they are currently going under. Greystar is the current management company. If you ask them they will say they just recently took over. While technically this is correct they only moved their office to an apartment while Sunvest was trying to sell the apartments. Don t bother with the current manager. She is married to a VP in Greystar. Maintenance spends their afternoons sitting by the pool while work orders pile up. Gated community, HA-HA-HA. The gates are there but have not closed in years.
Theft, count on it.
Bugs, count on them.
Excuses, always.
Courtesy, NO chance.
Caring, only at rent time. Don t be even slightly late! Eviction notices are delivered on the 2 nd of the month.

This is so cute! Whomever you may be, you obviously are a problem.
The property is now owned by a company who has committed to keeping it. Greystar has managed the property for over two years now. The ownership and it's management have made it clear to all residents through newsletters and door to door hand outs that we are NOT going condo anymore and all focus is on apartment rental operations.
As far as the manager, she is a great person and easy to deal with, but she is by the book and by the lease...in other words, she follows all the rules. This is how a good property manager acts. If you are asking her for something you just can't have because it is against your lease, no, you will not get it.
The gates have been repaired and are in good working order.
Maintenance sits around the pool all day, huh? Funny, I haven't been able to enjoy the pool in the daylight once in my almost two years working on this property...(this is the maintenance supervisor writing!) We work very hard to keep up the pools, grounds, and complete work orders as quickly as possible. I do not EVER have time to sit around ANYWHERE. I typically barely get 30 minutes for lunch everyday. Don't smear names in the mud that don't deserve it...you'll get yours in return one day! Maybe you have a problem with maintenance because we were doing our jobs and asked you or your guests to follow community policies and rules, or you broke something and we held you accountable? I know, how unreasonable!
And yes, as with any apartment community, you are expected to pay rent on time. You signed a legal contract stating that you would, and if you did not, a five day notice will be issued and filed with your lease on the 2nd of each month. Again, read your lease. We are just doing our jobs.
I would recommend Symphony to anyone looking for an apartment, I live here myself and take great pride in the work we do here! So whomever wrote this blog, why don't you try following the rules, act civilized, and work your problems out like an adult?

Thank You for proving my point
I could sit here and rip your childish rebuttal apart but since I don???t live there and do not intend to deal with your company ever again I just don???t care.

1. As of Jan 18, 2008, the gates haven't actually been shut in months. What's the point?
2. I see Mike (the maintenance supervisor) working into the evening and on weekends.
3. Mike, you probably could have been a little more professional with your response, as others have made decisions whether or not to rent here based on your representation of the staff.
