My wife and I were interested in moving into this apartment complex due to its proximity to the Chandler Mall. From the moment we walked into the door, we were mortified by the terrible customer service. While we were interested on an apartment we wished to continue to look around the Chandler area for some better deals. We were told that they could hold an apartment for us if we left a check for $225.00; and that if we changed our minds that we just needed to call back later in the week, and they would shred the check. This sounded like a good deal since basically we had nothing to lose, so we left a check for $225.00. The following evening we decided to just rent a house; so we called several times to the leasing office to ensure that our check was shredded and that they knew we were no longer interested. They amazing leasing staff then indicated that it was too late and that we would have to pay the $225.00. We told them that the leasing agent we spoke with said that we had a week to change our minds; there response was you only have 24 hours to change your mind and get a refund. Even the manager was useless. So we let the check bounce and now have a bad-mark on our credit, not to mention the overdraft fee from the bank and the $40 fee from Town Square Apartments. I am writing this as a warning to others; stay away from this place. These people are useless; very rude; and careless.

I remember when I rented I had to sign something that said I understood the cancellation policy. I'm pretty sure anybody that leaves a deposit would have to do that.

Josephea6, Be glad you did not move in here ! Your loss is just $225. If you had actually moved in here you would have paid through your nose !! Like me !!
