OK, first of all, this is one of the noisiest places I have ever lived. I could hear my neighbors using the toilet, and their screeching kids at all hours. Second, the staff does not seem to have heard of the concept of privacy. Almost every week, the maintenance staff was banging on my door for bug control, fire alarm testing, inspections and whatever else they could think of. Every time I went to the office I felt like I was back in school going to the principal's. The covered parking was impossible, with posts strategically positioned for you to scrape your door into as well as opposite rows of cars placed to close to each other. I scuffed my neighbor's car once or twice trying to park, and my own car was backed into several times as well. I know apartments aren't known for study construction, but the cabinets and drawers were the cheapest nailed-together particle board I have ever seen. The rent was also very high, $600 a month for a studio''! The vending machines steal your money and the neighbors just can't mind their own business. Overall, it's better than living in a cardboard box on the street, but not by much. If faced with the misfortune of living in Cottonwood, I would recommend moving here ONLY if you can't find anywhere else to live.
