I lived at the Mountain View Villas for close to 2 years. In the last few months of my stay I had someone outside my bedroom window on more than one occasion. I began to feel unsafe living there and decided to move. I had resigned a year lease the month before and since I didn t file a police report and the staff didn t believe what I told them, I had nearly $2,000.00 in fees. Their reply was It has never happened before . What a shame, a month or two after I moved there was a stabbing and rape incident, I bet that had never happened before either. I am disappointed in the way my situation was handled and the fees they so thoughtlessly slapped me with. In the time I lived at this apartment complex I was late with rent once, never caused a disturbance and was a good and thoughtful tenant. It s a pity the greedy state these companies have stooped to.

Regarding the 10/2 review of Mountain View Villa. I'm just starting my 11th year here, and there was no rape, no stabbing, and there has never, ever been anything like that here. I know about this anonymous person, and the police and everything else considers this anonymous person a first class nut in need of psychiatric treatment.

I lived at Mountain View Villa for 1 1/2 years and like I said in my review I liked it felt comfortable but it is a little scary late at night when people walk by the apartment and if you have your blinds or windows open they can see into the apartment or break in which was something that I always worried about since they have very large windows infront of the apartment but I never had anyone try to break in and never heard of any problems like stabbings and such so can't tell you but I think the management company has become greedy w/ their charges and that is why I moved $670 -$720 a month for a 1 bedroom apt utilities in Cottonwood that is the going rate in Sedona which is more expensive because the job market is in Sedona so I aggree w/ this person on the way Management treats tenants.
