i currently live here in the aspen leaf apartments and i can honestly say that i do enjoy it here. it's a little pricey but i think it's still worth it. the apartment is nice and pretty big for a one bedroom. i had some problems when i first moved in with a door not locking and the front door getting stuck but it was fixed that day. the grounds are nice, unfortunately there's no park around because that would be nice for the kids but nonetheless the grounds are still clean and nice.
people who were talking about "little mexico" across the street sound like a bunch of ignorant jerks. yes there are lower income housing across the street but they're all really nice people, some of the nicest actually. and yes the kids do come over here to play but they're very sweet kids. they come and play with my kid and they're very respectful. right now, as i type this, they're sitting outside on the grass playing. so i don't understand what the big deal with that is.
the only problem i had was they sent me a notice that they were going to tow my car because my tags expired but i had a receipt to show they were on their way. the other manager girl was rude but when i talked to cricket (the manager) she was very nice and fixed the problem.
OH and the man who does maintenance is great. i know this sounds rare, but he actually comes when he says he's going to come. i called about a dripping sink and he was here within ten minutes. and then he had to come back the next day to replace it and he said he would be here at ten in the morning and guess what, he was. yeah i know amazing. that dude deserves a raise.
walls are concrete so you don't hear much. some college kids but you only hear them being rowdy while they're walking around but once they're inside you don't hear them anymore.
and this is a very safe place. we leave our car unlocked, on accident usually, and nothing has ever been stolen. we even had our cameras in there but nothing at all happened to them.
i like the place and i would refer them to other friends or family who were willing to pay.
