This neighborhood is located about 1/2 mile from the Purina pet food mill, and when the wind is right (which is often,) the smell is like a punch in the face. So much for opening your windows on a nice day! They started construction on a brand new building a week after I moved in (without prior warning of course) and for the past few months, all I've heard is loud jackhammers, hammering, tractors, and banging from 8am till 5pm. Don't plan on napping here during the day. The apartment is extremely small for the money, and instead of decreasing our rent for the construction, they sent a notice increasing the rent on the next lease! Needless to say, I am not renewing. The fitness center is located in the complex across the street, and consists of one treadmill and one weight machine, which are always occupied. The staff is friendly, but I guess they have to be to keep tenants here.

The construction is due to be complete by the end of August 2005. In addition, the fitness center has four cardio machines and a complete weight center.
