Forest Ridge Apartments

We relocated from Tucson and it took the office staff several phone calls and reminders to send us information on a lease. In our discussions we informed Brooke that we were only interested in a six-month lease and that we had a dog, she said that would be fine. When we arrived on our move in day, Brooke, the office-leasing agent didn't even have the lease ready. We were forced into signing a year lease (she said they didn??t have any six-month leases left, we were not informed of this before we arrived), but she told us that we could terminate our lease early with no penalty, we later found out she was completely wrong. In addition, we were accused of several false complaints about our dog, because of her lack of organization. Finally, the apartments suck. They claim that new carpet has been installed, but it looks like it has been there since the 70??s. We also became very aware of how thin the walls are between the first and second floors; we were woken up several times by our neighbors having sex (it sounded like they were in the same room). Furthermore, they now charge outrageous utility rates, which used to be included. These apartments are not worth the price or the new utility costs.
