The manager Yvonne is worthless and a few other choice words.. She is also lazy and a lier. She likes to get people to apply and just to keep the app fee's. The other office staff change almost every three months.

3 years ago the place was packed and it even had a waiting list. Now it is a 3rd rate ghetto. The place seems to be half full now and they the once full parking lots are all but empty. This is due to Yvonne's lazy ways and her bitchy nature.

During the winter of 2007 they gave each apartment 1 parking spot. I had to park in one of the upper lots on the hill. They did not clear the snow from the lots or the side walks. My girlfriend and I were told by Yvonne that snow removal was our problem. I work nights and most of the walkways have little or no street ligth at all. I fell 2 times on the ice. Both my car and her car got stuck in the parking lot more then 5 times each. My 78 year old father came to see me for a week and my girlfriend and I had to park both of our cars a block away in the upper lots. This is due to the lack of handycap spaces and by lack I mean none in the area I lived.


Noise' like drunk college kids and people dressed as gang members that have party all the times. The noise starts thursday night and goes until sunday night. The only thing the office will do is tell you to call the cops. The walls seem paper thin and this is due to the fact that most of these units were built in the 1960's. So if you like to hear the trashy people next door fight, pee,have sex and watch porn this is the place for you.

The grounds are just awful. The grass in the parking lot and every where else was around a foot when they cut it last june. Trash can be found every where. The only place they seem to do any work is infront of the office.

The place is not safe. The sad fact it once was a good place to live but that changed about 2 years ago. The problem with theft and other crimes got so bad that the office put out a warning letter to lock all doors and windows. A few people have had cars stolen from the parking lot. We have had fist fights in the parking lots and in the streets. We have had people fire a shot gun off. We had a bunch of drunk 17 year olds steal a car and crash it. The car stopped about 4 feet from the front door of the apartment across the street from me.

The buildings have carpet from the 1970's. The paint is about 15 layers of different whites. The kitchen counters are off white-yellow or a ugly brown. I seen a few that have a Very 1980's fake wood pattern. I can not say one good thing about the interior of these places. Even with the heater on its cold.

Maintenance is a joke. The manager fired most of them and the rest left after dealing with her. I think only 1 guy is left. In the dead of winter the heater went out and it took 2 days for them to even call anyone to get it fixed. The only reason they did fix the heat was my girlfriend told the office we were going to buy some space heaters and take it off our rent for the next month.

and finally back to the staff.. They will not help you. They have no clue how to even file! they lost every peice of paper we gave them. They even lost a rent check and tryed to charge us $180 in late fee's. The manager Yvonne lied to our new place saying we had people over all the time and other straight out lies. So remember you wont be screwed only when you live at forest ridge, Yvonne and the other staff with try and screw you for leaving.

Refunds' yeah right.. they will drag it out and charge you for anything and everything they can. It took almost 3 months to get our $120 bucks back. That $120 was out of $750.

The worst part of the whole thing was the power and gas bill. When the new staff came they changed the lease and started chargeing people $225-275 per month on top of the rent. So $900 or so sounds good until to add the power bill on.


You can do much better for the price and you can not put a price on your safety.

I posted a review earlier about how they lied and kept my deposit after I applied for a duplex. Fortunately I rented a charming little house instead. I'm in the process of moving from Seattle to Flagstaff and plan to file an official complaint against these people after I get settled. Yvonne is the rudest, most unprofessional person I've ever met, and these people cannot continue to get away with ripping people off!

Oh, Yvonne did keep my deposit of $170.00, she told me not to fill in the money order, I was making it out to Forest Ridge and she stopped me. Bet she just pockets these money orders.....uggghhhh....can't stand that place, it's more trouble to you. IF YOU'RE SMART DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE TO THIS DUMP!!

I think Yvonne is gone now...I'm moving out in January and haven't seen her around.
