I went there to see if I could rent an apartment and I was told there was only one studio left, stupidly I put a deposit down because I was desperate. I was given a move in date of two weeks since the current residents are not out yet, so two weeks later I was told the place is not ready, I asked to see the studio and Yvonne the manager stated "By Law, I can't show you the place when it's not ready." so I let that go and then a week later I came back and they still wouldn't show me the studio. Then I came again and Yvonne wasn't there so I asked the new girl if I could look at the apt. and she took me to take a look at the place, OH MY GOD!! the place smelled like a smoker lived there, there were no baseboards, the walls were so thin I could hear the neighbors, the carpet was still dirty with stains, the paint job looks like it's been recoated 20 times, the bed they call a bed looked old, it looked like it had mites on it....sick!, I looked in the bathroom under the sick and there big holes around the pipes, also in the kitchen, the appliances were ancient. I think Yvonne suckers people into putting the deposits down and when they decide not to rent, she keeps the money order. I say this because she wanted the money order blank for my deposit to hold the apt. but of course I lost the deposit of $170.00, when I put the deposit down, she did not explain to me that if I change my mind I would lose the deposit. How sad is that! Now I have to work extra hard to earn that money that I lost. This place is crooked, only crooks work there. I also did some research on some people that lived there and they told me that your utility bills will go up in the winter especially propane costs!! Oh, everyone shares the utilities too, if you live in a studio and there are families living in 1 bdrms, the bill is split between all tenants, it doesn't matter if you don't use the utilities that much. so basically you pay for other tenants utility bill. Please I beg you do not move here especially if you don't have money to waste, don't even put a deposit down to hold an apt. you will lose it.

Clearly the old manager is the old manager for a reason. I moved in shortly after Yvonne was replaced and I have had no problems since. The apartment was in good condition and as far as the utilities go, things are great. Not only did I not have to worry about getting things turned on by a certain date, I didnt have to put security deposits on any utilities either. I am in a studio apartment and though they are based on square footage, not actual usage, I am still paying less than my other friends in other apartments. I will definately renew my lease!
