Worked well for us

We lived in Highland Village apartments for 7 months and left because we purchased a house. We saw the ratings on this site after we put in our deposit at the apartment and explained to the management that we were concerned. I did not think that it was noisy. During the summer we could hear college kids outside but that was about it. There are no doors on the bathrooms, which is kind of strange but can be dealt with by putting up a curtain. It is in the best elementary school district in Flagstaff and the bus stop is at the complex. Our apartment was clean and newish when we moved in. We kept the place clean and they did not take our deposit when we left. The apartment staff was always helpful.
Positives: Near NAU/groceries/highway/gas
Negatives: Small kitchen/internet not great/hill can be treacherous in snow
