i also have lived here and about now i would have been better off being a transient. i at times could not get home due to the three hills and no plowing, i lost time from work trying to get out. i fell three times trying to get to my apartment and watched as others hit the ground. management does not tell you what level you should be @ but the income levels are 60,50,40,30,20% of the median income yes there are only 32 but they neglect to inform people of that and they also do not tell you there is a waiting list. but you wouldn't know anyway because they won't tell you which ones so if someone does move out you won't know. and you can also go to school part-time and they cannot use your grants as incomes. the owners WESCAP donot care and when they say they need to speak to there supervisor beware the supervisor is the self-employed owner who answers the phone or here daughter and they don't care as they don't have to live here. they will raise your rents when ever they want during your lease but they won't do anything else until your lease is up and by then you've had enough. they smile to your face and the minute you turn around the knife sticks u so beware of your rights before you sign on the dotted line! oh yeah and beware your electric bill will kill you do to possible bad wiring.

I totally agree concerning the poor care taken during the winter months. The steps are crumbling aand dangerous. Cooperate doesnt care becuase there are sooooo many needy families you can easily be replaced, even if the replacement is a drug dealer. One of the managers moved to Timber Trails where that new property is now falling apart, graffatii and drugs are now common. It is hopeless if cooperate won't step in, but why should they, as long as the apartments are full they have no reason to improve the area. I am sooo furious with the lack on maintance I have talked to an attorney, who agress this complex is in horrible condition and warns if I sue I could be evicted and if evicted it will be nearly impossible to rent anywhere in Flagstaff again. If EVERYONE calls the health dept and the county attorney maybe a class action lawsuit would work, but the risk is more than most can take. You are right, living here is like living in a transient camp.

I agree.. I lived there 2 years and the only good things about those apartments are lots of storage space and their spacious, open floorplans. But that's it. They changed staff like underwear. There was always new people in the office every time I'd go pay rent. They regularly enter your unit with NO notice, so you never know who's been rooting around in your place. THe maintenece people have no clue what they're doing and at times were rude to me. The crime/noise rate is high as it is in most low-income housing. They never layed down enough cinders when it was snowing, so every winter there would be a bunch of people parked at the bottom of the hill. The building isn't wired for DSL, so I had to spring for cable internet service as well. (which came with a huge deposit I wouldn't have had to pay had the building been wired according to 70s schematics) Oh and the washers and dryers are never maintained and I usually had to lose my money in a few to find one that would work. That is, if some lady with 8 kids wasn't hogging every last one of them. I also had and entire load of laundry (all my pajamas, underwear, etc.. eeeww) stolen! and replaced with a load of someone else's laundry thrown into my basket. what the hell? did someone need a pair of ladies drawers that badly?
