I lived here for a long time. It was my first home when I moved to Arizona, and Flagstaff. In fact, I moved to Pinecliff Village before I ever even saw it. But I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful staff and GORGEOUS grounds. It's up on the McMillain Mesa and I had an amazing view of the peaks. I don't know if the owners realized what they were going to do to the property when they brought in the husband and wife "management" team. EVERYTHING went downhill. I have since moved to a beautiful apartment over on Soliere Avenue for almost the same price as a tiny, shi**y apartment with a view. They say that Flagstaff is "Poverty with a View" - well, it's true at Pinecliff. Once "management" changed over, the service nearly disappeared and maintenance''' The ONE maintenance man they had wouldn't fix anything. I used to work late nights and would have to walk three blocks from our "covered parking" to my apartment, only to find that the lights in my entryway and outside of my apartment were out. It took nearly three weeks to replace the bulb. When I finally came to my senses and moved out, I did the final walk-through for my move-out with Ron, the "manager". He told me my apartment looked great and it was very clean. I returned all my keys and was told my deposit would be refunded. Four weeks later, I received $118 of $325. AFTER the fact, he had decided to charge me for cleaning and misc. charges, whatever those are. Take my advice - just stay away! But if you find yourself there, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. USE A VIDEO CAMERA WHEN YOU MOVE OUT!!!
They're money hungry, evil, rude people who will take you for every penny. Someone should report the entire complex to the Arizona Landlord/Tenant Association. I've driven by recently and the place is in shambles. Shambles. That's all I can say. A once beautiful property has swirrlied down the crapper.
