I am an NAU Alumni. I graduated from NAU in May of 2000. The Pines offers a great central location to the NAU campus. I lived here for two years. The management was very good. If you ever had any maintance problems they were fixed in a short amount of time. The Pines is located walking distance to Harkins Movie Theater, as well as a first class gym and spa (THE FIRM), directly in front of the main office. There is a storage unit across the street as well. Futhermore, NAU started offering a shuttle service to and from school for this area. The Pines residents are both college aged kids mixed with a few non-NAU residents. The only thing I found wrong with these apartments was the fact that the hot tube didn't work most of the time. You do have access to a laundry room on site. The hours are from 7:30' to 10:00pm' For those of you that have pets, I saw both cats and dogs in these apartments. I lived in a two bedroom apartment upstairs approx: 960 sq feet, for $750.00/month. This rate might have changed' They also offered great move in specials. 12 months w/ one free month of rent. You just need to ask, or time it right. During the summer's most of the students where gone. Not a party complex, although there were a few good one's from time to time. Security was very good with this apartment complex. If you are looking for a dump and a place to PARTY try Alpine Ridge. You will not get much studying done there. Have a great time in Flagstaff. I sure miss the place.
