The Village at Lake Mary Crossing

Post-move update From: thehiz Date posted: 8/30/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   After moving out of these apartments we've encountered one serious issue that needs to be addressed. Unfortunately, neither my wife or I were able to attend the final "move-out inspection". Before leaving, however, we thoroughly cleaned all surfaces of the apartment and ensured that trash and other objects were thrown away. Despite our best efforts at leaving a clean apartment we were returned only $110 out of a $300 deposit. We were told that the microwave and stove were dirty and this necessitated a $175 cleaning charge. I can't imagine who they hired to do the cleaning but I think I'd like to open a cleaning service company! Beware the excessive and highly improper cleaning charge by physically attending the final move-out inspection. I only wish we'd had the foresight to protect ourselves against these unscrupulous operators.
