I honestly have never encountered a more disrespectful, dishonest, and unprofessional management staff in my 10 years of apartment living. The apartments are very nice for the flagstaff area. There are your normal problems with the appliances and neighbors but what makes this community so uncomfortable to live in are the staff. I have no idea how this place has been rated so well.

The manager is deceitful when she is trying to lease an apartment. She comes across so nice and friendly, but as soon as one questions her job performance she is down right unprofessional. She demands the utmost compliance with the lease...as soon as you are in violation, such as colored curtains that cover the white blinds, she threatends to evict you. But she hasn't trained her staff properly and they constantly make errors. Nothing is done to repremand them, yet the residents who pay rent and ultimately her salary are held accountable even after their mistakes. I highly suggest moving to the Lodge out by Lake Mary Rd. They are visually just as nice and the management is more helpful. If you do decide to move here than my advice is to make sure that you are moved into an apartment on the pool side. Tmberline has too parts and the newest side is being sold to a different management company. Anyone living on the first phase will pay for amenities they will not get. Also, we were told an initial move in price, we moved here for a week and then were told it was a mistake...we owed more money. It didn't state that in our lease but we were threatend that she would ruin our credit. We paid the extra $800.00 but later found out we had no legal responsibility to pay it. The office made a mistake, the resident paid for it.

It sounds like the management could care less. We lived here for a year. It's horrible that the residents kept cleaning up the staff's mess. Too bad they can't be sued for not following proper Policies and Procedures. I noticed poor management is all over Flagstaff area. Why is that? Anyway, we live at the Lodge. No problem with management. NEver needed to deal with them after we moved in. Hope you find a nice place to live in Flag with great management office staff.

Unfortunately almost every where you rent there is crappy management, I've learned this from experience. However, I have been in some much worse situations, and am just happy to find a nice safe place where the neighbors aren't hostile. Flagstaff is a pretty nice little town despite all the terrible apartment reviews. Maybe I'm still recovering from the last couple of years, but I've got nothing to complain about.
