The apartments are okay, and they fix/repair problems with your apartment within a day or two.

The problem is that the office staff are constantly turning over - so you never get the same answer twice. I went in to the office two months before my lease ended to see if I needed to fill out any paperwork. I was told no, and came back two months later to check out of my apartment. At that time I was asked why I hadn't turned in a check out form (by a person I had not seen before in the office). That person told me that I was breaking my lease and there would be a one month of rent fine. She said she would ask the corporation and get back to me on what I needed to do or pay. No one got in touch with me, and I got a call from a collection agency demanding two months rent.

To summarize, the apartments are decent, not wonderful, and slightly overpriced, but watch yourself when it comes to asking the office staff questions and relying on their answers. You might want to ask several of the staff and make sure you get it in writing.

In terms of safety, a woman walking alone at night might want to be cautious... it is very close to a Greyhound bus station that has lots of transients walking through at all hours of the day and night.
