although it's one of the most "affordable" apartments in the town, Pine View is not worth the price. You can practically join in with the private conversations of your neighbors because the walls are so thin. And if your neighbor is smoking pot the smoke will come wafting right through the vents into your room. The surrounding area is pretty shady, and walking to campus is no "walk in the park," you have to cross two major streets where you are likely to be panhandled by drunks (which also occasionally occurs in the apartment parking lot itself).
