There are good things and bad things about the apartment complex.

the good: it is very close to campus, literally across the street! makes going to and from school nice. There are school bus stops not very far from the complex if you have classes north or south campus. The layout is great (2bdr 2bath) with an extra loft. Downstairs living room isnt spacious but the loft has a lot of space for extra furniture or a mini game room. I use upstairs to work out and its perfect. I rarely hear my neighbors unless they're listening to music REALLY loud, but thats like once or twice since i've been here. the grounds are well kept, stairs salted when it gets icy and they shovel the sidewalks when it snows.

The bad: MANAGEMENT! they are impossible to work with! my roommate needed a replacement screen because a storm knocked it out and it took them 2 months to come. The management has lost our rent a half dozen times making it impossible to afford as a student having to pay rent over and over. They will do anything to try and evict you. My roommate and I got an eviction notice for having cigarette butts downstairs, we both dont smoke, and none of the other apartments around us even got warnings! they do not allow ANY pets, yet the manager has a huge dog! We have had threats of eviction for made up reasons! When you sign the lease it says clearly no pets on any of the grounds, so if my mom and her dog wanted to just VISIT they couldnt, she would have to leave the dog in the car. yet the manager walks her dog on the grounds all the time! she also uses her balcony for storage which is also against the lease! They lost my roommates whole LEASE! i moved in and she had absolutely no record of the lease itself! and accused him of lying in front of my parents! they also say they will clean your carpets for free when you renew your lease, but that never happened either. I've only been here a few months but i cant wait to get out! Also when it snows melted water leaks under my door getting the whole entry wet! The carpet is pealing up and the linoleum is too, literally curling up from under the metal that holds it down, but some of my friends here have better carpet and linoleum.
