Before moving into Wavertree I had been in contact with the managers and they seemed very nice. Once I moved in this changed. First off, the apartment was filthy when I moved in. There was mold growing in the kitchen and it looked as though the kitchen/ living area had not been cleaned in years. The "private" room I was assigned was so easy to break into that it was hardly worth locking. The walls are so thin you could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in the other rooms. The neighbors are extremely rude and are always throwing parties. The walls had cracks and chips out of them. They say they have washers and dryers in the unit but you have to pay for them separately. The dryer never drys your clothes all the way on the first run and usually doesn't on the second run either. The bathroom was less than acceptable as well. The toilet leaked and the tub was cracked. Within weeks of moving in the bathtub faucet broke and after 10 months was still not fixed, even though i had tried to get that taken care of every time I got a hold of the manager. Which was not often. They say they will be in the office at certain hours but they are never there! They are so rude and the place is a dump. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. Student or not.
