Before moving in, we thought it was wonderful. The models were gorgeous, the staff was friendly. Move in day - apt wasn't ready, staff unavailable and annoyed that I was trying to get a hold of them about a dirty apt! Maintenance is a joke. Yes, there is maintenance always going on, however they must not care about competence as they are always repairing the same things. Heat and water are important in a freezing climate and I would say that most days we went without it. If we wouldn't have been locked in to a lease, we would have left after the first six months. The management is ever changing and they are the opposite of helpful. The insulation is non existent, you can hear everything going on around you and trust me they can hear you too! Tenants were arrested on property (I watched as they were hauled off in the police car) but yet weren't kicked out as stated in their "crime free" speech. Multiple tenants that I knew had their vehicles broken in to and nothing was done to provide better lighting or to have security on site (even though they state they have security in 2 years, I never saw any security guard)!

I too experienced such problems when I lived at Woodcrest. Something really needs to be done! While I lived there I decided to move from one apartment to another (as their loft apartments seemed soooo nice) low and behold my apartment was broken into not once not twice but three times on moving day! The management attempted to blame it on me....sure, I am going to break into my own house and steal everything I own just for fun! Also, the maintenance man who worked there while I lived there always gave me the creeps! He always had something he just had to do in or around my apartment, my locks would magically break, things would mysteriously move to another room in my apartment...this place is horrible! Don't live there! Two words: Sketchy and Shady!
