I lived in Woodcrest for one year. I rented the small one bedroom apartment on the ground floor. I could hear everything my upstairs neighbors did (and I do mean EVERYTHING!).

Furthermore, the managers Beverly and her son Tyler and the maintainence man are all thieves! After my one year lease was up I decided to move into one of their larger loft apartments.

While moving my belongings from one apartment to another "someone" used their key to gain access to the loft apartment where they proceeded to steal everything! They walked away with my dishware, my sheets, crystal gobblers, books, clothing...everything!

I reported this to the managment but they didn't care and they also forced me to sign the new lease under duress (I was 22 at the time and didn't know what to do).

I came back to the loft apart later only to find that they had once again "broken in" and stole more of my belongings...here's the kicker...they brought back some of the things that were stolen the first time!

Oh and lets not forget that my new loft apartment was right nextdoor to the "creepy" maintanence man and what did I find in the bathroom upstairs' A hole that had been drilled in the wall...a hole that allowed me to see into the apartment nextdoor...obviously, nextdoor could see into my bathroom!

After such a fiasco one would think that they would refund my deposit. Oh no! They flat out refused to give me my money back.

If Beverly and her son Tyler are still in charge of this place BEWARE!!! They are horrible, horrible people. Let us not forget the maintainence man...I believe his name was John..he was creepy as all get out! I am convinced he is a sexual predator.

Oh and one more thing...I wouldn't want to forget to include the fact that on more than one occasion I came home to find my front door unlocked and half open. Being a woman living along at the time I ALWAYS locked my door. One day my doorknob mysteriously broke and John magically appeared just in the knick of time to fix it. Needless to say, I bought my own doorknob with a new key and I didn't give the complex a copy.

Heed my warning DO NOT LIVE IN THIS HELL HOLE!

Funny, I lived there from 2002-2006. The managers of the apartments then were Beverly and Tyler and they were FIRED when the apartments changed ownership. However, they were among the best of the crappy management because they minded their own business. Oh, they took all our deposit as well. I wouldn't recommend Woodcrest to anyone.

We lived in these apartments from '93 to '02. We had the most wonderful management/maintenance husband and wife team until around 2001 or so. The apartments were well cared for and all tenants were respected. This couple moved and the Creepingtons (Bev and Son) took over. Immediately, things went from bad to worse! We contacted the management company for the apartments to share our concerns. Not only could they have cared less, when our lease came due we were refused a new one. I can only hope that karma is less than kind to this group of weirdos!
