If your thinking about moving into woodcrest apartments, DONT!! I was regretting my decision from the very start!! Fist of all, we were paying almost a thousand dollars for a one bedroom with a loft! We got a puppy shorty after moving in and before we even got a chance to tell the office, we had a warning letter on our door that there is an unauthorized animal living here and to pay the insane amount of 500 dollar deposit or vacate!!! By the way, 200 of there 500 is refundable! I asked where the remaining 300 dollars goes. The management just told me, "It's just not refundable"! So if there is any damage what so ever, if comes out of your 200 refundable dollars! Also, we had milky tap water and we put in a service request. It took days to get someone to come and when he came, he said he would call the city because it is city water. Guess what, no call, no fixed water! Lastly, we did our final walk through after breaking our lease early because we had to get out! The person who did our walk through charged us 5 dollars for dusty blinds! So we said fine, and expect a 195 check in 4 to 6 weeks. Week 8 rolls around, we find out they sent the check to the wrong address, for the wrong amount!! We later find out that the person who did our walk through, charged us 5 dollars for each room that had blinds, and 100 for the carpet not being clean!!! The carpet was cleaned to perfection, and all he told us was 5 dollars total!! Now all of a sudden its 115 charge!!! Ive been through hell and back with these people and tell you this to save you the anxiety and stress as well!!!

i really wish i wouldve seen this review before my roommate and i already signed papers... i love my apartment, but i cannot stand the management. well, the main manager is nice but the leasing agent is horrible! even though i know i'm doing nothing wrong, i feel like i always have to watch my back in my own home... and i have to live with that until april..

I am sorry to hear that! Watch the maintence guy. If you have a problem, he will come fix it and be nice and seem like a great guy. If he sees anything wrong with your apartment, he will not tell you, and you will receive a notice on your door the next day because he their little spy.

Well considering you live in a college mountain town you're not going to find a cheap place to live. Pretty much everywhere has a $500 pet deposit with only half or so refundable plus pet rent. Also, You should have called the city about the water. I've lived here for 2 years now and I haven't had any problems. I mean when you think about things it really makes sense
