You had better think twice

If you absolutely require an apartment and have no other reasonable choices, Woodland's village is satisfactory. While there are many benefits, the complex is significantly overpriced and the management is incompetent. In addition, they are bent on wringing every last dime out of their tenants. When confronted over questionable practices, I too was told "This is a business".
Noise issues described in the other reviews are not exaggerated. As a student living alone, I am often kept awake until the early hours of the morning by loud music or bass. It does not seem that my neighbors have to awaken every morning as I do.
When dealing with management, take notes or record your interactions. Policies and details explained at lease signing are likely to change without notice. Expect inconsistency when speaking with more than one member of management. Read the fine print! The policies in place are designed to unreasonably penalize tenants and rake in additional profits. You might as well bring legal council if you plan on being treated fairly; this is a not a community, it is a business!
