I lived at Yuck Peaks for several years..I enjoyed my apt at first..then they were sold several times...They go through office staff faster than a fast food restaurant and the current Manager has rage issues. I have seen him belittle staff and tenants! Don t be fooled by his man of the community act he is hardly around and the only office he works in is the Gym! I attempted to talk to the next person in charge and they were unwilling to listen and seemed uninterested and made me feel that I was interrupting their day! They are continually raising the rent to compensate for the multi-million in upgrades that they are making to try and SELL the remodeled apts. They only let current tenants sign a 6mth lease and then increase the rent each time! They are desperate to rent these because they CAN T sell them! Watch out if you rent here and real estate turns, you are sure to be out of an apt or due for a hike in rent! If you don't believe me check out the management companies website they buy, fix, and sell apts in need, to make money! Watch out for maintenance they don t like to fix anything especially if your apt is due for remodel! Fountain Hills only has a few apts left and if Yuck Peaks is the only one I recommend renting any property in town to avoid living at YUCK PEAKS VISTA!! Good Luck! Check out the complex up the street I hear they have a GREAT APARTMENT community!!

This review could not be more inaccurate. Obviously from someone who has a gripe with paying market value for a prime community. I have lived here for four years, and the new upgrades to the community have only made living here more wonderful than it already was. My neighbors are great people who really care and share their lives as one big family. Yes, my apartment is now owned by an investor who lives in Canada - as are 80% of the units here. But nothing else has changed except newly upgraded facilities. The rent, which has always been a great value, has increased slightly - but still way below market for what you get. A similar unit in Scottsdale would rent for double - if not more. I just wish I had the ability to buy a unit here because I would do it in a heartbeat.
