How do I hate Bayside' Let me count the ways.
First off, one of the ladies who works in the office is just an idiot. She doesn't understand anything and yet talks to you as if you're the one who doesn't understand. On top of that, she lies!
Rent is just ridiculous. It changes day to day if you want to renew your lease. And the rates skyrocket if your lease is for less than 12 months. Their month-to-month rates are just ridiculous.
The walls here are super thin. You can hear all of you neighbors in their house and anyone outside, too. I can even hear my neighbors peeing in their bathrooms! Gross!
If you need maintenance done, you can give the office 'permission to enter' if you are no home. The carpet cleaners came and I had just woken up and didn't want to answer the door because my carpets weren't ready. I did NOT give the office permission to enter yet I looked out my window and saw the guy go to the office and came back with a key to get in!
You share your water bill with your apartment. So even if you are saving water, you can still be paying a buttload for water each month.
Our parking spot in on the other side of our building from our apartment. AND there is no side walk going to our apartment so we either have to walk in the road or in the rocks which is really hard and annoying if you have groceries or a baby.
One of the roads turns into a lake whenever it rains.
These apartments are old and the windows have no insulation whatsoever. The winter, it's cold when the heat's on except it's an oven in the bedroom(s). And just the opposite in the summer. It'll be fine in the bedroom(s) but it's SO hot in the living room and dining room.
Some how BEES got into my apartment through my air vents!
If you have a pest problem (that's no an emergency) you have to wait until Wednesdays. We had ants on Thursday so I had to wait a whole week before anyone would come out the kill them. And the ants BITE!

On the plus side, their maintenance guys are really nice and get the job done well. but that's about the only perk to these apartments. Every time I see people going into the office to sign leases I am so tempted to tell them to not move here!
