Great place

I've been at Country Villa for three years and, for the most part, I would say it's been a good experience.
I like that the utilities are included, which is a deal during the summer.
However, the complex uses a central A/C machine.
This unit went down for three days in 2005 (a supplemental unit was brought in for a couple of months to assist the main machine).
Right now, in 2006, it seems like it can barely cool my upstairs apartment.
My A/C unit runs all day long and only cools down to 80-82 degrees.
The first 2 1/2 years were quiet and trouble-free.
Starting in the fall of 2005, a large number of noisy tenants have moved in.
I'm talking loud music and drunken parties in the middle of the night.
Management is quick to respond to noise complaints, however.
The laundry room is centrally located but is quite a hike especially during the summer months.
There are only about a dozen and a half washers and dryers, which sometimes are completely in use.
It's not uncommon for the floor to be littered with dryer lint and discarded items.
Unlike some of the other reviews here, I've never seen or smelled any drug paraphenalia going on nor are there any sex offenders listed in this complex.
Management does not snoop around looking for problems.
If you want to avoid trouble, don't do anything that breaks common sense.
The complex is in a great location.
There is a multitude of grocery stores, drug stores, fast food places, and entertainment all withing a one mile radius.
