Lived in Country Villa 2 yrs. Multiple issues, but auto vandalism was an issue twice. Another issue was a misplaced rent check that they "found" 4-5 months down the road and just deposited without giving me a heads up. I thought the check had long cleared. While partially my fault for not knowing I had an outstanding check, the fact that they just deposited it months later without letting me know caused some other recent checks to bounce. Needless to say I wasn't happy with that incident. Also had issues with management not enforcing pet rules. I am highly allergic to cats. Neighbor had four. They slept on MY balcony and roamed on my porch and around my apt door. I had alerted management, but they took no action. After a few nights sleeping away from own apt so I could breathe, I gave notice. Just like someone else who left a review, they claimed no notice and since I moved and left no forwarding address, they got a judgement against me for just over $1,000.00 total. I stewed on my anger for a long time and finally paid off the debt to clear my record, but it sucks that with better customer service from the management, all that could have been spared. The noise and other issues people have mentioned are all legit. It's a shame that for a cheaper monthly rent, you have to sacrifice your right to receive good customer service.

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005. In the beginning it was a great place. the vandalism to cars, the druggies, mismanagement by the manager was enough to send me running for a new place. The drug user with the unsupervised kids running outside at 2 in the morning should have been a tip that the place was bad. the drunks and tweekers at the pool would get into fist fights with the cops being there taking statements every weekend. the lost rent checks, the late fee notices after you handed the manager a check and demanded a receipt. the lazy burned out maintenance guy who never did fix anything right. not a good place now since i know someone who recently left after her car was destroyed by the local thugs

I'm the poster of the above review and I just want to add that the apt mgr NEVER cleared the payment I made from collections or my credit report. Should have guessed. If I had known, I would not have bothered to pay it off.....

It's not up to the manager to clear a collection on you. its the collection agency. you should of paid and you wouldn't be in this mess.
