$100 deposit given on 5/19/04. Never signed lease, after multiple calls, visits still no refund and it has been almost 2 months

I just put a 'hold' on a 1 bed/1 bath that's available 9/15/07. You have to cancel or change your mind within 48 hours. Basically, before they close on the 2nd day which is 7pm. I got a call from the leasing office on the 2nd day, so, I was able to make up my mind and if I chose not to take it, they certainly would have refunded my cashiers check on the spot. Just curious, how long did you wait to call them or inquire before 2 months went by? Technically by then, your money went to the 'community'. Sorry about your luck.
