I had a unit that faced Gilbert Road, which was a total nightmare on noise and the hot, evening sun in the summertime!! The parking was very adequate, although the lot hardly ever got swept/cleaned from debris falling from the pines! The unit was a bit small, but was fine for just me. The a/c worked decent, but low celings made for a higher electric bill. The units were well maintained, and clean! The office staff was always friendly and courteous. The noise outside was the worst thing about Gilbert Greens, the bar/club across the way, the traffic of 6 lanes whizzing by, and pollution from the vehicles made for an unpleasant experience. I moved to this community sight un-seen from the midwest, and I don't regret it, but I knew I could do better when I got the financial situation worked out. I would recommend this place as a great starter/in-between place to live!
