Going Downhill Quick From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/1/2003 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   We moved in the spring of 2002 and it's approaching one year. When we first looked at the apartments, they pitched to us the fact that they were part of the town's Crime-Free Multi-Unit Housing Program. We submitted to a backgraound check and were assured that everyone living there had done the same. No felons or riff-raff. Within 6 months, the signs for the program disappeared. Beer cans strewn around the grounds became a more frequent sight. More yelling, more sirens. It's gone downhill quick. Also, the water gets shut off about once a month as different leaks keep appearing. Five times they have shut the water off and only ONCE have we been warned about it ahead of time! Yes, it's a steal in a pricey market -- but be aware that it's no longer what it once was.
