The Staff is rude, at least once you've signed your lease, and they never answer the phone! My family had been with a different equity residential community for the three years prior to moving to AZ, and we loved our former complex. This one pales in comparison. We were never shown where our apartment was, we drove in circles for a while (with a big uhaul!) They never told us where our mailbox or the fitness room was. We had to ask other tenants. The first time we used the bathroom the toilet overflowed and flooded our bathroom to the point that they had to bring in a machine to pump out the water! Then as I was putting away silverware the drawer fell out! This all within the first hour we were there! They said it was clean, it wasn't, the middle room and balcony smelled of cat urine (still do). Our fridge never really worked, it would freeze stuff in the refrigerator but the freezer wouldn't keep ice cream frozen. I had to complain three times, and lost a bunch of groceries, before they put in a fridge. They told me I had too much food in there! It's an itty bitty fridge and there's five people in the apt! (Myself, my hubby, and 3 kids) The oven wasn't calibrated right and it would burn food like no other, but I was told to just turn it down! Needless to say, they are reluctant to fix anything. Two weeks ago my husband's truck was broken into, and the stereo was damaged. The same week a bike was stolen and several other tenants reported stolen items. It's gated but three people can get in on one gate card,if the gates are even working. The security guard is a joke, we've only seen him one time in the past six months. Obviously not enough to discourage the thieves! It's a dog friendly complex, which is nice, except for the dog poop everywhere. Also, there must be five stray cats running around. One thing to be aware of is the way they bill for water, it's not done by your personal usage, but by the whole section and then divided by the amount of tenants. The AC kept the bedrooms cold but the living room and dining room were sooo hot. Anyway, it would be a much nicer place with some new staff members and a little more attention to detail.
