We lived in Playa 1998-2000 when we were "just starting out". It was mostly singles & young couples. Depending on where you are in the complex the parking can be tough. I liked that the W/D was on the patio, so the dryer did not heat up the house. The maintainance guys were awesome, and the office staff was tolerable. The apts themselves were pretty big and I loved the 2 closets in the bedroom. The bathrooms were a little small, but in the grand scheme of things, overlookable.
We got to know our neighbors very well (too well) because you hear EVERY noise. While this sometimes provided entertainment, it was irritating at times as well.
Overall, a fine establishment.
