I moved here sight unseen from a beautiful apartment in Kansas City and have definitely regretted the decision!

The only pluses are that the apartments are big with big closets and new carpet. Thats about it.

Bugs alllllll over the place here. Ants, roaches, and spiders, and some really tiny bugs that look spider-ish. They "spray" all the time, but obviously to no avail. I never have food, trash, or dirty dishes sitting out and keep my apartment clean, so unless i have disgusting neighbors (definitely a possibility)it must be the community. The ants POUR in from the bathroom area whenever it rains.

Appliances are absolutely ancient. I am pretty sure my great grandmother had the same ones in her house. The oven heats uneven, the dishwasher soap door doesn't work and dishes actually come out dirtier, the garbage disposal has had to be unplugged twice (from light, single person use, no bones or celery!), and there is only 1 sink basin.

I hear everything my neighbors even think about doing! And my neighbor below is pothead that prefers to jam music on his "rad" system until 4 am rather than sleep. I called the cops on him after he was banging his sliding door so hard stuff was falling of my walls at 3:30am on a Wednesday and now, every time i walk across the apt. he calls "courtesy patrol" who don't seem to be good for much besides that. There is never parking for guests and always people in your spot and constant break-ins.

There are kids in every crevice here so if you prefer a quiter, adult environment without kids dodging in your path while driving, peeing in the pool, and playing games by your car while their parents laugh, not the place for you. Not to mention the thugs and wannabe gangsters all over the place.

Oh, PLEASE listen to this poster! The roach/bugs statements are true! And also about hearing everything the neighbors are doing. Our stove doesn't work right, either. The office does nothing.
