I have lived at Sahara Palms since 2000 and just resigned my years lease. The location is great, premises kept up. When there are problems and they have to be repaired it can be an inconvenience to tenants (but you expect that from an old development). Apartments are spacious, I've lived in both a 1bdrm and now a 2bdrm unit. I've never had problems with any kind of bugs at all. Some of the maintenance workers look for a quick and unacceptable fix but if you call the office they usually send the maintenance mgr to re-evaluate the "fix". I didn't used to like the office staff and avoided at all costs but things seem to be better now. The apartments have everything you could want and they do their best to keep the rift-raft out. Yes that means occaissionally getting building wide notices. I think it's a great value for my money. If you have noisy neighbors, don't worry, they won't last long.
