I just moved here I've been here going on four months, i honestly dont know why everyone is complaining. First off I've read everyones remarks and it seems like everyone is just upset that there are "illegals" so they say. Sounds more like racistism to me then anything. I've never seen kids running around, or people working on their cars, or gang tags. If your going to bi*** and complain then why the hell are you going to live there for years and years. Most of you stupid people signed a 12 month contract. So if you all got a bad taste in your mouth the first 12 months why the heck would you continue to stay there for years to come' I never hear my neighbors, I honestly never see them its quite and peaceful. I wouldnt want to meet any of these people that posted bad reviews souns like if you look at them the wrong way you'd get ur head chewed and be called illegal.

Well I am not sure what racistism is but I am reading all the other reviews and I don't see that. I used to live there and I did sign a year lease, the first year wasn't too bad but then it got worse. My upstairs neighbor allowed a drunk friend of his to see his LOADED gun and it went off. I have 2 kids and it scared the crap out of me! The management actually took care of the situation right away. But when I found out a convicted sex offender lived there, I got the run around and was told that the person would never do anything like that. I would like to hear what you think of the place when your lease is up in 8 months. I can already see it, you will be very unhappy!

I am a former resident within the 12 months we were there we went through 3 changes in management I personally had to call police 2x because of young people and drugs. The spa never worked the entire time i lived there and had standing water in front of apartment for long periods of time. I do not know how new management is doing never had issues with previous management was always treated with respect,I think my issues are with company that owns the complex spending money in office area and not in apartment area.

Well, I moved in at the beginning of april, so I've been there for about 5 months. This is my first apartment, but unlike all the other "firsties" I actually have a job, and responsibilities. I do agree that there are A LOT of people who are into drinking, drugs, and partying that live here. There are a lot of kids that run around but it doesn't bother me because I'm gone during the day. I do have to say that there are a lot of what you people like to call "illegals" there, but its not that I have a problem because im racist, its because they are extremely noisy at night and play there music from there car in the middle of the night and hang out outside. Thats all. I'm not really complaining to much about the apartment, I think it is decently nice. There could be improvements like: free upgrades (like all the new residents are getting), the lamp posts fixed so we can actually see where we are going at night, it not to be so damn muddy when the sprinklers are on (basically more grass, I almost fall on my ass everytime I come home after the sprinklers have been on), better dishwashers (or at least in my case, it doesnt clean the dishes at all). And thats basically all, I do like living there, its just those things that would make it better. But when your sitting on the porch and some random kid comes up to you and asks for a beer or a cigarette (which has happened so many times) and you dont even know them, the apartment cant really do anything about that. They could be harsher on there background checks, but in that case people like me and my roommate and other people like us who havent had any experience before but are still responsible are going to suffer. I personally think that Regina is doing a pretty good job, I didnt know the previous owner, But for the most part regina is fine. I would really like the lamp fixed its a big problem in my area at least, makes it creepy. And im probably going to call about the dishwasher, hopefully they can get it fixed. But the other stuff like the "illegals" and kids, I can just ignore them, and try to stay away from them. I do need to complain about the people above me, they make so much noise at night I cant sleep, which is bad because I work 5am-2pm, so I need to sleep early. But thats not really a problem all around. It just depends on what type of person you are. The apartments arnt bad, and from the looks of it regina is trying to make them better, but there not the best either. Its basically in the middle. But I will tell you that the springs of gilbert meadows website butters it up WAYYYYY to much. The inside of the apartments look extremely far from that. At least in mine, I dont have wooden floors, marble countertops in the bathroom, or a french door. It would be nice but I dont have them. I will tell you when I first moved in I was disappointed in the apartment, because I saw the pictures on the website and the demo room, but it didnt look like that, but I got used to it. I don't think I'm going to renew my lease, because I do want something bigger, but its not so bad that I can't finish it out.
