I have lived here for almost a year (from april 07 to june 08) and I'm counting the days till I move out! You can hear every car that drives by and the ones with the loud music you can hear while in the shower(on the other side of the apartment). The parking spaces are tiny and both sides of my car are dented up from everyone trying to get into their cars and setting the alarms off every time they bang into another car. My a/c unit has been leaking onto the carpet for a week even with a bowl under it, the water still splashes out they said its no big deal and just say to call back if they don't get to it by the end of the day. But if the carpet get ruined or the a/c breaks because of the problem, I have to pay for it. I went to the office 3 times in one week asking for air filters and they just say try back tomorrow. I just bought my own at walmart and I will take them with me when I go. Three times in 2 weeks there has been no hot water (shared water heaters) and tonight i died my hair and the water was freezing but it always happens at random times not just at night. If they fix water pipes (which they do often) they turn off the water and don't tell you and if you call to see when it might be turned on they say they have no idea. There is one guy working in the office and he is the only one who knows anything about apartment managing and he's not even the manager. that must say a lot about the manager!

I'm the manager and some of the above review is true, some fabricated. The community hot water is serviced by two boilers. If there is a problem and a boiler needs repaired, unfortunately it does dissrupt hot water to 1/2 of the community. At times the hot water is dissrupted for minor repairs, usually for an hour or so. I have been the manager here for a year, and yesterday a boiler actually "failed" and dissrupted hot water for 24 hours, this is the first time this happened in a year. We did all we could to notify residents with a flyer as soon as we were made aware of the issue. If the writer is reading this, please contact me directly regarding your A/C repair. It must have slipped thru the cracks, and we want to fix it. Parking here is abundant and the coverred parking is unassigned which makes it very nice for more than one person in an apartment to be able to park in the shade. The spaces are the "standard" size.

I have to agree with the poster. To the manager..how quickly you forget that the boiler "failed" in Feb too. And when it was "fixed" they forgot to turn a valve back on, and for a week, we were getting random warm water. Kept getting told nothing was wrong, until some genius figured it out. And this recent failure was not a 24 hour thing. Two days more like it...for 2 days, I was boiling water to bathe the babies, and do dishes. Tisk tisk...how the management tries to cover it all up.

Yeah, I too have to agree with the post. I too had my a/c leaking for 3 days and was ignored but maintenance. I was concerned about mold because, from what I measured, my a/c leaked over 6 gallons in those 3 days. No one seamed to think I need be concerned about mold.

We had our a/c leak to right onto our carpet, we had to put a big popcorn bowl out to catch all the water. The bowl would be there for a few hours and than it would be full. We called maintenance 3 times over 3 days and we never received conformation that the would fix it. So finally we went to the front office and told them and it still took them an additional 2 days to finally get a maintenance guy up here. What is really funny is since that whole a/c leaking thing happened our electricity bill tripled. We told the front office and they said our coils must be dirty and it is our fault. They also said the would send a maintenance guy to fix it but we haven't seen and or heard from anyone since than. So we are moving to a larger and nicer apartment for the same price.
