I have lived at the Springs at Gilbert Meadows for 6 years. Trust every post when they say the place has gone down hill since the new management. My rent has gone up $300.00 since they took over. Funny, I'm still living in the say ass crack apartment I was 6 years ago. Only reason I stayed for so long was because the price was right. My refrigerator has to be older than the actual property, same with my stove. Maintenance is a joke. They refuse, or just don't know how, to fix anything. I had someone come out to fix my A/C and he ended up clogging my sink. The apartments are small! For what they are charging here I could get another apartment for the same price with about 200 more square feet. Whatever you hear about the hot water is true. Some times you have it, sometimes you don't. You NEVER know when. They have to rent to anyone that walks in the door. My previous neighbors must have had the cops called on they 2-3 time a week for domestic violence. It was a really fun night when I came home at 11pm and saw him drag her outside naked, throw her on the ground, kick her, then run. Parking is awful. No assigned spots is a nice idea, but having people take up 3 spots for a Hyundai is a bit much. The place is filthy. People let their dogs poo on the sidewalk and no one ever picks it up. Within the past 4 months 5 surrounding units have moved out and they have only been able to fill one of them. I guess we can only assume that prospective renters realize what a joke of a place this is. They are charging way more than what living here is worth.

I'm the manager. Unfortunately sometimes you get a disgruntled employee or resident and they come here to vent. I believe that is the case here. We have never raised anyones rent $300. Actually, we have not had any rent increases this year at all. Please weigh what you read before you buy into it. If this person really is a resident, I kindly ask you to contact the manager so I can work to resolve any issues you have.

First off the increase was over time, not all at once, so you did increase my rent $300. And the issues I have were already resolved, I moved. Oh by the way, I point of this IS for disgruntled residents to vent, that way we can inform prospective renters what to expect.
