you know its the ghetto when the rent-a-center truck is here 5 days a week! Are they delivering or doing a repo'' nobody's really quite sure.
Way overpriced for the quality of apartments and service from the office staff. Noisy parking lots, trains at all hours of the night and garbage trucks at the wee hours of the morning! Wish our tour quide would have let us know all this when we specifically asked about the noise throughout the neighborhood.
I've read some specific references to -------in the office. Don't let her fool you, she'll be your best friend when you move in, but that's the last time you'll ever speak to her. She's been in the office when I've had problems and simply waved me towards another office worker with no authority, while she ate her lunch in her office. I had one particular incedent which the office employee wasn't authorized to amend, and when she was asked for assistance, she claimed she didn't have the authority either. She needed the assistant manager to handle it. Doesn't she have more authority than the assistant manager''
As far as maintenance. Not too much to complain about. Had one request, which took 1-1/2 weeks to resolve. But, we didn't say it wasn't an emergency. One emergency we did have was handled immediatly, but it took them over two hours to fix the emergency and still had to come back to make all necessary changes. Beware when you do call maintenance, they will show up at any time and give less than a minute of knocking before they just enter the apartment.
Overall, it hasn't been a bad experience here. There is just so much competition available that its really worth checking around before just move in. There are many problems here that are out of managements control, but if you want an honest opinion of the neighborhood and area, there are better options in the same price range!
