I live here at The Springs and am quite frankly put off quite a bit by the negative comments that are left here by "unhappy" residents. It seems like this is an open platform for people to "BASH" the community and staff. First off I myself have had things go wrong in my apartment and have always had a great response. Things go wrong sometimes but that can happen anywhere it is inevitable. I just recently had an appliance go out and the office staff was more than happy to assist me while I was frustrated. The maintenence staff did everything that was within their power at the time to take care of my needs. I enjoy my home here at The Springs.

Yup. Well, people get upset for whatever reason in life, and it's unfortunate they write reviews in that frame of mind. Likewise I hope my own review wasn't irrationally sunny. People who read these forums like to know the inside scoop. You know what? The office staff and the maintenance people here are not perfect. I sometimes have to ask multiple times for maintenance to be done (yes, it's true, brother). My neighbor above smokes, so I have a stinky apartment (gross!). And here and there around the complex I run into a person with a bad attitude. But in my humble opinion, the bottom line remains that the management and staff and Cares Team are setting the right tone and direction for the complex. And I definitely feel safe and comfortable and among kind-hearted human beings here. What price can you put on the slack the office staff has cut me, the smiles my neighbors give me, the ever-available covered parking, the huge trees outside my door, the work of the Cares Team, the ever-vigilant grounds clean-up? There will be bad apples in every barrel. The trick is when, like here, some vigilant soul keeps the barrel as a whole good and tasty. That's worth a lot. Tom
