We lived in these apartments for almost four years and our first two years were a great experience until managment changed and then things got real ruff!!! The managment there is HORRIBLE they have no customer service and do not give a dang about you!!! When we moved out we were left with a large bill to pay for the carpet to be replaced when it was not our fault!!! I would not recomend living there because managment will make life hell!!!!!

my thoughts exactly. the property and location are fine, its the snotty management and office that think they are better than anyone that make life there so unbearable. the really sad part is that they(office staff) seem to take delite in the misfortune of their residents. walk in and try to speak to them about possibly being a few days late on the rent, and watch (her) eyes lite up ! she seems to enjoy writing eviction notices more than anything. you cannot disagree with them, they will haul you into court in a heartbeat and ruin your credit. once my rent payment was stuck in the mail drop slot, and they claimed they did'nt recieve it by the 4th...when it was the 5th when they got around to telling me about this. they forced me to pay a bunch of B.S. late fee's and to get a money order. they never would admit that there were several other envelopes that were stuck in that drop slot...they act as though they enjoy your misfortune and try to capitolize upon your hardships. they want to write eviction notices.they enjoy it. its a game to them. i was dragged into court when i had pneumonia a cpl yrs ago and was late paying.i'd been sick in bed for nearly 3 weeks. they would NOT accept my rent payment by the 10th, had me served and i was forced to go to court where their attorney stood there and told the judge that i REFUSED to pay and made no mention of my attempts to pay. once that was said, the judge made up her mind before even hearing my statement and i was given 48hrs to ***t the high added charges plus attorneys fee's and court cost, or be thrown out on the street.they can get a marshall to come throw you out, but they can't seem to get one for security.....
the management will NOT work with you under ANY circumstance and they go out of their way to make a bad situation even worse. i watched one power hungry hateful woman roll her eyes when she was ask why she was so intent on evicting people for the most minimal offenses. your cars appearence will get you tossed if she does'nt like that either.some days you drive thru the property and see red stickers placed on every 5th car in the parking lot. one of the office staff is a true ---- and loves to flaunt her authority over the tenants, and smile and speak "down" to people with problems that they are attempting to work out. you don't work out your problems with Vista Montana management, you get your problems made worse with their help...even when you ask for a day...thats enough to be labeled and targeted.
the property is not bad. its the office staff thats a nightmare. hateful, mean and lousy working with people. they are demanding and disrespectful, rude and condesending. IF you are a perfect tenant, then all you have to deal with is the trash thats left out,(they do pick up daily, they just wont end it) the crime in the parking lot,(from residents too, not just outsiders)and the slow response to maintinence request. they used the excuse of routine building maintinence several times in one month to gain access to apts for the purpose of snooping i believe. i have found things missing that could not be explained. they love to tell you about the great security and the new gates, that allow thieves and robbers to follow a resident inside, then go wait until they spot their victim. i saw gangbangers there all the time after dark. thieves can sit there in total privacy now. stolen cars are common, break in's are equally common. and TRY saying something to the management! you're told that its not their problem. if they respond, it will be with an eviction notice on your door for bothering them. The people in the office make or break a property. this property even with all its potential, is severly broken. i've never seen a more hateful and rude office staff in my life. i think this staff enjoys making life that much more difficult for their residents.the only time i see any of them smile is when they are talking about some residents and their issues. i've witnessed someone literally begging for 24 hrs to pay the rent, and be laughed at and told to have it in there by 5pm or get evicted. they could help in MANY situations IF they just wanted to. they dont make deposits for a week, so whats the big inconvenience of one more day? like i said, its a game to them and they always win...and get a pretty good laugh at YOUR misfortune.
immature and unprofessional is how i'd best describe this management. hateful seems to fit right in there too. i'm thankful that i escaped recently, and i would not offer a free apt to a homeless person there....they'd be better off under a bridge somewhere than to have to deal with this management.
