The management here has known about the flooding problem in the garden level Apt's for a long time and will not correct the problem. I just lost around $4000.00 in furniture due to the in-ability of the Manager to actually MANAGE.
When I brought up the issue of my ruined furniture to--------------(manager). I was told "Thats why it's a good idea to have renters Ins." Well after talking with some longer term residents I discovered that the flooding is not a new ordeal. This happens every year. That makes Management here responsible for damages. I can't wait to move!
Do yourself a favor and rent a house. Apartment complexes will all ways have a slum lord mentality, and Vista Montana in Gilbert is no exception to this rule.

i personally know that they have known about the flooding for at least 15 years. this has been going on and on. told employees not to tell new residents about it, just blame it on the bad rain and the direction the wind was blowing. take a look by the front door, there are pumps that they installed to try and pump the water out? hmmm they put them there knowing that this is a continued problem. funny how employees wont live in a garden apt. contact tenant rights advocates, they would LOVE to help you out. maybe they should do some research??
