I've lived at this Archstone Community "Cochise" for over 2 years and my lease is finally up. It's a great location buttttt.....it's not as safe as it looks. There are a lot of teens and lots of drugs. Turnover is high from what I've seen. I've lived at both the East and West end of the complex. I've had a car totalled by an anonoymous driver, hit and run and a bran new car smashed in the back end by another anonoymous driver. Occassionally I've seen under cover security but on no regular basis. The apartment complex took no responsibility towards the damages nor did they do anything to correct the problem. I've slipped and fell on sprinkler water on walkways were the heads were broken off for over 2-3 weeks. My current apartment has infestation, and they spray, but it never works till about the 10th time. They want their rent money and tack on enormous fees along with court fees and are not reasonable if some situation occurs to cause your rent to be late. With all that said, I think a cleaner place with less teens, less crime, less drugs and less bad drivers is my next move. You can definately hear your upstairs neighbors walking around if your on a ground floor. Oh yes you'll pay for water and for some reason it's always higher in the summer. Don't let them fool you, your paying for them to water the grounds. Buttt they've removed all the outdoor water knobs so you can't water plants, wash outside windows or god forbid wash your car. If you have a garage, neighbors will complain if you have the door up. Some things are reasonable and expected but other things are not. P.S. They will give you one month free, maybe, but you sign a 13 month lease. Good luck and good apartment hunting.

This guy is right Arechstone Arrowhead is not the place to live in the Glendale area

I was a resident of Archstone arrowhead since mid 2005. The office staff was nice at first. The maintenance had problems with doing their job and found excuses to replace whatever needed to be replaced. Management took forever to handle complaints. They would allow racers to race through the entry way all the time. The fire department and police were constantly at the complex. Each day it seemed that the residents allowed to live there got worse and worse. I would never tell someone to move in to that complex

Current Hostage, Save yourself!!! I can't get out of my lease!!! Archstone is plagued with bad management,a poor maintenance staff and teen crime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
