Anytime I have had to deal with the office they are just morons. I have had more the one occasion where they simply shut and lock the office up with no warning in the middle of the work day. They dont plan these things or warn the community they just lock you out and don't return. Its just mismanaged plain and simple. If you have to talk with anyone about where any paperwork is they won't know. If you have a problem with your lease they can't fix it. If you need to speak witha speific person 9 out of 10 times they aren't in the office. They move slow as hell, and are generally just space cases. All of this is untrue if you are applying for an apartment. They put on a show for you when you are applying once you are in you are a number like the rest of us. One thing I suggest is dont ever have packages delivered to them because you never know if they are open or not. They close without warning. Also you better hope you dont have an emergency situation. I just paged the emergency pager about 45 minutes ago twice and still havent got a call.

Have you experience all of this while being under the Archstone management? I'm currently looking moving to this apartments and well i'm concern about your post. Can you give me a better scenario overall,(i.e. people , parling ... community as a whole) Any input will be greatly appreciated
