Before I moved in, the staff was very nice and courteous. After I moved in, everything went downhill from there. The door to the washroom was broken, stains on the linoleum, the carpet was repeatedly patched, the blinds didn't work, and many other maintenance issues were found. After paying $800 in fees, I expected everything to be fixed and in order with the apartment. These flaws were noted on my initial move-in sheet, which was conviently lost by the office. Then I found scorpions in the apt and a black widow under the stairs. Maintenance took forever: they NEVER called me back unless I harassed the office or sent an email through the website. Only after threatening to sue them for medical bills if I got bitten did they bring an exterminator out. Expect to pay a $200 rent increase if you renew your lease or a $200 carpet cleaning bill if you move out. These people don't care about you and only want their money. My first apartments were nicer and had better service than this so-called "luxury" apartment. To get anything done by the office, you will have to be aggressive, call them all the time (and hope you get a person instead their voicemail), or send threatening emails to them. Parking was also horrible and people frequently parked in my spot, with the office doing NOTHING about it.
